American Chopper Sr vs Jr premiered tonight, and Vinnie is making a comeback. For those that love American Chopper and the
men at OCC, you all know that there is a lot of tension between Paul Teutel Jr and his dad, Sr. Paul Sr has a temper and alienated his children – both Mikey and Paulie.
And now that Paul Jr got away from his dad it’s time for his company Paul Jr Designs to do what he knows best – motorcycle designing. To commemorate the situation, Paul needed to build up his shop. Helping him is none other than Vinnie, who left the shop after various disagreements with Paul Sr.
Paul Sr took a bike out for a ride, and scoped out Paulie’s new studio. He noted that there is no bike building going on – yet.
So who will become the better bike builder? Will it be the old school hands-on designing and metalworking done by Vinnie and Paulie, or will it be the cutting-edge technology that Paul Sr has at his disposal? It will be the quintessential old meets young and a show that will be one of TLC’s bigger hits.

Here we go again! Paul Jr and his father need to relax and have a drink.

I can’t believe that this article said that this will be a hit!!! Are you kidding? Most of the show was “Random Rants with Sr.” Who is going to watch that? Yes I know that he ranted in the origional show, however, this is way over the top! I wish all the Teutle siblings the best, but hope they don’t hang too many hopes on the future of this show. If the premier is anything to go by, and I hope it is not, it will be short lived.

I watched this show and it was depressing. Paul Sr. has some serious mental problems. He seems so completely wrapped up in his own ego and celebrity, he’s okay with sacrificing his own son. There appears to be not enough glory in the world for him to share with anyone else. Jr. is a son he should be proud of. Jr. is a truly gifted designer who’s ideas have made OCC a world class brand, and Paul Sr. insists it’s all his own doing. Even with the split, any normal father would be celebrating his son’s attempt at independence and want the best for him. But no, Sr. overtly mocks his son’s efforts in front of the whole world. I wish Jr. well and every criticism Sr. has about his son, well, he only has himself to blame.

it is gettin bad to where the american public will sit around an watch a family as disfunctional as this my only hope is that someone out there reaches out to reunite this group it is simply rediculous for their family to allow this nonsense to go on i say they cut the show this does not make for good tv it makes for a public breakdown of a family
-
I will watch the show! And as to the comments of the break down of a family well yes that is important, but this is bussiness. Paul Sr. in my opinion is the lowest life form on the earth. He walks around in a world of his own. He acts like he is the talent and he is not. Paul Jr. made OCC what it is today. I can not express in words the anger and hatred I have developed for Paul Sr. What he did and continues to do to Paul Jr. and Mikey is evil. I hope that Rich jumps ship and goes to work with Paul Jr.
To listen to the lies come out of Paul Sr.’s mouth is amazing. Does he forget we watched his behavior and everything he did? He had the nerve to say that Vinnie left because of Paul Jr. What is he smoking? He left because of you SR. Wake up and look at what you have done and continue to do. I hope that Paul Jr. does better than you could ever hope. -
hahahahaha pretty much we all feel the same on Sr.—-just the BEST for Paulie–Sad father, Sr. is SAD !!!!!!!!!!!! One thing I always say and It is so True too
” A Big Mouth will always be their OWN undoing ” take that to the Bank Sr. You are as low as a person can go, and most of all sadly for you Jealous YES JEALOUS of your Son — Kick A$$ Paulie and You have some awesome support behind you, AND if we ever hit the lottery –You so will be OUR MAN
xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox To you all the WAY, you young Man are awesome I’m 66 and a lady and I love your show.!!!!!!!!!

I have been watching these guys for years. I have enjoyed the BIKES. That is the reason I watched the show. Now, it is just too much crap that has nothing to do with bikes.
As for Sr. And his group, the QUALITY of their bikes has gone down
significantly! I can tell you the distinction: Sr. and his people take a
standard bike and all they do is DECORATE IT! Decorating bikes is NOT customization! Sr. is just NOT a fabricator. He is just a pissed off, jealous guy who will be out of business fairly soon. Just take a look at this guy: his ENTIRE FAMILY does not communicate with him. Funny that his family members talk to each other, just not to him. This is very sad! The new show has Jr. building bikes and Sr. bad mouthing everyone. Sr. and his guys need to focus on BIKES, not being a miserable old man. Sr. cannot say 5 words without bad mouthing his son! Unreal!
Jr. and Vinnie are DESIGNERS and FABRICATORS. Just look at their first couple of bikes – AMAZING! To be honest, Jr. has a lazy bone in his body. He does! But that is how creative people are! Creative people work in their own worlds! So I understand why the crap hit the fan with Sr. Too bad!
But the facts are: Sr. and his people will not make it as a CUSTOM SHOP. They now just “produce semi-custom” theme bikes ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like they did when Jr. was there.
I will tell you that the OCC guys need to watch what they say about Jr. The guys working for Sr. always agree with everything Sr. says about Jr. and Vinnie. They all need to beware that they will all, eventually, want to work for Jr.
Watch what you say, boys!
Jr. and Vinnie and Mikey, I wish you good luck. Remember that you are designers and not decorators. Rock on! Mikey, stay with the rehab. I’m pulling for you!
Sr.: Grow up!

Wow, most of the comments I hear about American Chopper are so negative. From what I see, the show is great! To say that families don’t fight is an understatement, even though this family feud seems very fragile. The show rocks! Nothing better to watch people make bikes and the REALNESS that goes behind it. It’s cool to watch bikes getting made but to have someone explain “X,Y,Z” to me while watching it isn’t as cool as what American Chopper brings.
I wish Jr. makes the “Monster” of a company his father built. Watching the problems his dad dueled out makes me want Jr. to succeed even more. He will. My only concern is who will make the better bikes? They have all the tools at their disposal—we will see.
What I don’t get is how people DON’T like American Chopper. It’s actually an amazing journey these guys are going through mainly because it brings real life elements and drama to the public. I would agree with one thing you guys have said though, Paul Sr. seriously does have some issues, for sure.
This stuff isn’t made up fellas, come on now…
Great show and I hope it is around for years to come!

Sr. is a big mouth blowheart. (They are a dime a dozen) Bikes that he was involved with could have easily been made by any backyard builder. While Jr. has vision,
he needs to hand build more of his parts so his creations become what is known as a true “One of A Kind”. He and Vinnie have that ability and enough equipment, they just have to use it. This will easily propel them out front of the old man. -
It is really such a shame to see this family torn apart like this. Sr’s ego and immaturity have been a big part of this. A real man and father would be celebrating in his son’s ability to strike out on his own and earn a living with his talent for something he loves.

hey sr when are you planning to grow up? i hope in the end of your court battles with jr YOU LOSE we all know that jr is the real builder your bikes stink i never liked them i watched the show because your son has some seriuos talent and noooooo you are not able to teach him all he knows you mock all three of your boys you treat them all like crap and you expect them to bow down the hell with you close shop i dont like the way you treat family unless it has a pricetag on it your a miserable person to be around paul jr will overcome your misguided fortune and build his own empire and i cant wait for the buissness to BOOM and your falls down are you ready for that be prepared evil only returns evil

I think Discovery should run a program about how to spell when you post on a blog. HOPEFULLY it would be a hit!!! Some of you people spell like you never graduated from grade school!!

i feel very sorry for paul jr and with his dad keeps picking on his sons and thats not cool of the dad. what i think is paul sr the dad is going to come across the wrong person one day in his life and get his butt beaten up. i really think paul sr needs to stop all this crap on his sons before paul sr gets his at the end by the wrong person. one other thing is paul sr needs to count his blessings that his 3 sons loves there dad but again paul sr had it coming with 3 sons not talking to him now. i vote for paul jr and why he is a hard working man from what i seen on the show. one more thing if paul sr keeps being all big and bad like he thinks he is well i got news for paul sr is not big and bad not at all.
i am a fan of paul jr. from kevin
