Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, America’s favorite Twilight couple are gearing up for a Vampire C-Section in the film
“Breaking Dawn.” The so-called “Twilight Birth Scene” has been the subject of much controversy since after the first movie was such a hit, and there are two sides to the story.
On one hand, the Twilight series caters to a younger audience. Of course, people of all ages love Twilight, but there’s a distinct Tween following. Chalk it up to hunky Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner to spawn the interest of pre-pubescent squealing girls.
On the other hand, there’s another loyal following of a more mature audience that is very in tune with Stephenie Meyers’ book. In the final accord Robert Pattinson has to give Bella a ‘vampire C-section’ to deliver their child.
The Vancouver Sun reports that the screenwriter says “It’s about the intensity of it. It’s on their faces. It’s all from Bella’s point of view when you’re seeing what’s going. It should feel visceral. I think it’s going to be pretty intense.”
We can’t wait.
Still yet, a bigger problem looms over Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s birth scene – from the book you know that Jacob falls in love with Bella and Edward’s baby – they are soul mates of sorts. This sort of brings the story full circle on one hand, but has an element of sheer creepiness on the other. How are the screenwriters going to portray a werewolf in love with a small baby? That will be the true test.
