The 2010 Michigan Football Schedule and the Wolverines along with coach Rich Rodriguez are things that those who bleed blue and maize dream about. Although in years past, the Michigan Football schedule showcased easy breezy match ups and a sure path to Big 10 victory, the past couple of years haven’t been so great for the Wolverines.
The last couple years have brought 3-9 and 5-7 records – not impressive. The season opener against Connecticut would, under the guidance of former coach Bo Schembechler, have been a breeze. However, nothing is certain anymore for the Wolverines.
Three of the biggest games will come from strong rivalries – Michigan State, Ohio State, and Notre Dame. The Notre Dame game happens in South Bend Indiana next week, and if the Wolverines lose, fans will have a bad taste in their mouth.
After Notre Dame, the Wolverines stay home with UMass and Bowling Green matches. Before heading to Indiana on October 2nd and hosting the Michigan State Spartans on the 9th.
They go on to host Illinois and head to Purdue before their home finale against Wisconsin and the highly anticipated annual match up against rival Ohio State.
If the Wolverines emerge and are able to grab a title, Rich Rodriguez will be out of the hot seat. However, with the dismal past couple of years if 2010 proves to be as disappointing to fans, then Rodriguez may need to find himself another team.
