Apple’s new iPod Touch brings a lot of excitement in 2010. The fourth generation (4th generation) iPod Touch has something
we’ve been DYING for for years now – a camera. When the iPhone first came out and had a camera, but the iPod Touch didn’t, many people were disappointed. Now, the Touch has both front and rear facing cameras.
That means that the iPod Touch has FaceTime capabilities. That’s right – the device can be used for video conferencing via the FaceTime application. Think of it like a mini mobile Skype – and that will be quite handy for many people.

The new iPod Touch also brings the Retina display featured in the new iPhone 4th generation models. This is quite amazing, and everything just looks more beautiful on the screen.
The only thing that it has that I would change is the mirrored finish on the back. I would like to see that in the brushed metal used in the MacBook line, plastic, or something other than the mirrored finish which is so easy to scratch and smudge.
The new generation line of the iPod Touch is great. 2010 is a great year for Apple – will you buy one?

I don’t think they’ll ever get rid of that mirrored back — it brings in too much money from 3rd party case developers. Unfortunately for us.
