Verizon iPhone and White iPhone 4 Available During Next 12 Months?

A Verizon iPhone and White iPhone 4 would be two units that would complete Apple’s already fabulous lineup of gadgets.However neither the Verizon nor the white handset is available.  At the end of July, Steve Jobs mentioned having a resolution to the lack of the White iPhone 4, but as of yet all we know is that it is “not available.”

Now I have a theory that Apple is waiting to release the White iPhone 4 until they fix the internal antenna problem.  If they can work out that bug, then they won’t have to spot customers a free bumper.

But the Verizon iPhone is another story.  We know of the exclusivity deal with AT&T, but many have grew impatient with the fact that there’s no other carrier option.  Verizon seems to be the most likely choice for a second network, but Apple might shake things up and decide to use T-Mobile, Sprint, or a smaller, regional carrier.

There’s no doubt that the addition of these two handsets would add plenty to Apple’s bottom line.  If they aren’t available yet, it’s for a business reason.  I expect that within the next year we will find that both the Verizon iPHone and the White iPhone 4 will be in the hands of consumers.
