A Call of Duty Black Ops multiplayer beta likely won’t transpire. Josh Olin, the community manager for Treyarch recently tweeted that the Google and Bing ads about a beta were not official – and that if he didn’t say something himself, then it’s not official news. So far, no beta has come forward.

And that’s got gamers a little upset. Many look to the beta testing phase to ensure that once the title is released, it’s free from glitches and is the best that it can be. Still yet, we are only a little over two months away from the game launch, and therefore a beta wouldn’t really make that much sense.
While the Black Ops game will be released on XBox 360 and PS3, it will also be released on PC version as well. PC Gamers are just excited, as there will be dedicated servers for game play. In addition there will be no public server files, meaning less ways that players can cheat. Official information on all Call of Duty Black Ops multiplayer – from beta and beyond – can be found here.
