Segway Owner Jimi Heselden died after a Segway Accident.  Heselden, who purchased the company which makes the two wheeled people movers, accidentally reversed his vehicle to allow a pedestrian past.  He fell 50 feet to his death, and it’s believed that his passing was instant. He was in Yorkshire on a bridal track, and someone was coming his way. He tried to reverse, but lost control of his device and plunged to his death. The act of kindness is typical for what people have come to expect from the ...

{VIDEO} Jennifer Love Hewitt On Law And Order SVU

Jennifer Love Hewitt guest starred on Law and Order SVU last night, and it was chilling.  The former “ghost whisperer” played the role of a woman named Vicky Sayers who was raped by the same man over a number of years.  She was too scared to subject herself to a rape kit, and told her story as she finally came forward to the police. Given that she was abused, this was a once-in-a-lifetime view of Jennifer Love Hewitt in this TV series.  She’s a lovable person, ...

Star Wars saga 3D:  The entire Star Wars series will be released on 3D, one per year starting in 2012.  Given the sudden popularity of 3D movies, it only makes sense that series and films are going back post-production and converting their films to 3D to command premium tickets. However, as we have grown to expect from George Lucas, this isn’t going to be a one-off transformation that gives the audience little to enjoy. The production is going to take a considerable amount ...

iOS 4.2 Before iOS 4.1 Greenpois0n Jailbreak?

By Jeff Wong on Thursday, September 30th, 2010

iOS 4.2 beta is available, but the iOS 4.1 Greenpois0n jailbreak for the iPhone 4 is not.  The Greenpois0n toolkit is so desired by those with a tethered iPhone, that malicious software makers are creating emails which unleash a Trojan virus into unsuspecting computers. All that aside, with the iOS 4.2 development beta available for developers of iDevice apps, some are starting to wonder if the iOS 4.2 will be available before the iOS 4.1 jailbreak. What's the best part of service to unlock the device? It's free.  Yes, that's ...

Lone Star Cancelled After 2 Episodes by FOX

By Samantha Ryan on Thursday, September 30th, 2010

Lone Star Canceled? Yes, Fox cancelled the drama after only 2 episodes aired.  The show comes on Monday Nights at 9:00 on Fox, and “Lie to Me” will take over the time slot.  Lone Star was about a con-man oil tycoon who’s living a double life. It suffered poor ratings, and probably has one of the shortest tenures in television history. Ratings are a competitive thing, that’s why it’s shocking that the network didn’t at least try to  move the show to another night.  Perhaps a Friday night ...

Thursday Night football 9/30/2010 schedule brings us the Texas A&M Aggies vs the Oklahoma State Cowboys tonight.  This is the first game of week five of the NCAA football season, and already things are getting exciting. Arkansas is shaking up the SEC, and are ranked #10 overall. They failed to beat the seemingly undefeatable Crimson Tide of Alabama last week, but it was a close call.  In week 3, they upset the Georgia Bulldogs at their home field in Athens, Georgia. Tonight’s game is very exciting, as both teams are 3-0 ...

An unemployment extension tier 5 bill for 99ers update doesn't bring good news. Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) legislation S-3706 "The Americans Want to Work Act" failed in the Senate on Wednesday. The bill was one of the last lifelines of help for an active group of unemployment American job seekers, the 99ers (jobless individuals who have exhausted between 73-99 weeks of unemployment insurance and, have been without any types of payments since March 2010), prior to the November 2 elections. Sen. George LeMieux (R-FL) objected to Stabenow's unanimous consent ...
