It seems like forever ago that Nashville was devastated by the spring rains of 2009. The area has been hard pressed to recouperate, and many landmarks for Music City have been out of commission - and those that are now open were out of commission for some time.
However, Country Music still resonates in the city, and it's not as if Nashville has become the new post-Katrina New Orleans. Quite the contrary! Nashville is now getting a first-of-its kind water and snow park, which will open up in an area that was once devasted by flood waters.

As we probably suspected, the fairy tale ending that many little girls have dreamed of has changed. Instead of waiting for a knight in shining armor to ride up on a white horse, they are taking their futures into their OWN hands.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was to be charged with felony grand theft Wednesday for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace.
Lohan was scheduled to be arraigned at the Los Angeles Airport Courthouse, where a judge would rule on her bail. If convicted, Lohan could face up to three years in state prison.
