Kobe Bryant recently appeared in an ad for Call of Duty: Black Ops. Of course as with everything that the NBA star does, being featured in the COD: Black Ops has gained him some criticism from the press. However, the Lakers star isn't the only celebrity featured on the ad. Jimmy Kimmel was in an ad as well, although he wasn't the brunt of much...if any...speculation. However, using Kobe in the Black Ops ad is a brilliant marketing tactic.  In the commercial you see Kobe, Kimmel, and a host of "ordinary" people playing a war game.  It sort of makes you ...

The Thursday night football 11/18/2010 schedule has commenced, as NFL has brought back Thursday Night Football, and the NCAA game is going to bring in their game as well.  ESPN airs the college game, and the NFL Network airs the pro game. The pros will match the Bears with the Dolphins.  So far, in the first quarter the score is 0-0 - so it's sort of a boring game.  The Sunday Night football is going to be really interesting this week, as the Eagles take on the Giants. The Giants ...

Most likely remembered to the casual NBA fan or the non-Trailblazers as the dude who took naughty cell phone pics of himself Oden is now in the news for being injured.  This isn't the first time, and basketball analysts are wondering if the Trail Blazers will commit $8.8 million to him again next year in a contract given his recurring injuries. Given that Oden was still slowly recovering from a fractured patella in his left knee, the Blazers are proceeding with caution.  His recent setback just goes to show ...

Zenyatta, arguably America’s most popular racehorse in 15 years, has been officially retired, the Daily Racing Form reported Wednesday. The 6-year-old daughter of Street Cry will be sent to Lane’s End Farm in Versailles, Ky., early next month to begin her new life as broodmare. No stallion has been selected for her yet. Zenyatta entered the Breeders’ Cup Classic earlier this month undefeated in 19 career starts. After a very sluggish opening half mile, Zenyatta finally found her stride while trailing the leaders by as many as 20 lengths. On ...

The Eagles and the Redskins are gearing up tonight for NFL Monday Night Football at ESPN.  Donovan McNabb's team is once again facing the Philadelphia Eagles, his former team - and facing the strange predicament that the Eagles have: two superstar quarterbacks. In a way, McNabb gets the last laugh.  The Eagles were quick to trade him in order to make Kevin Kolb their franchise quarterback. Fresh out of the pen after serving time for dog fighting charges, Michael Vick was extended an olive branch by the NFL ...

Boxing Fight Results left Margarito in the hospital, as Pacquaio won his bout against Mexican fighter Antonio Margarito.  The whole situation was shocking, and left America asking for more of the Filipino fighter.  However, the fight could have very well ended Antonio Margarito's career, not because he lost but because his orbital bone has been broken. Take a look at Margarito's face picture and VIDEO HERE. You will see that he looks like what some have called a "Law and Order" victim. Despite getting his face handed to him by ...

Anytime Big Ben goes out on the field, you can expect him to fight hard for his team. The Patriots are a good team as well, and although they traded off Randy Moss they're still doing excellent this season. The Patriots are 6-2, having lost to the Browns and the Jets. They are 2nd in the AFC East.  The Steelers are also 6-2, and #1 in the AFC North.  Both teams have the strong possibility to make it all the way to the Superbowl. A trip to the Superbowl would be the ultimate way that Roethlisberger could make his suspension up to ...

Margarito vs Pacquiao boxing match took place yesterday on HBO, and the 2010 results video below gives highlights.  Perhaps Margarito's face photo is the thing that most people are talking about, and so far, it's bringing more controversy to the sport than his cheating scandal last year. Anyone who watched the fight, and you can read our detailed RECAP HERE, knows that Pacquiao pummeled Margarito's face, and few would deny that the refs should have stopped the match.  By the end of the match, Margarito's ...

Pacquiao vs Margarito Highlights! [2010 RESULTS]

By Tyrese on Sunday, November 14th, 2010

Pacquiao vs Margarito Highlights became available last night, as Manny Pacquiao continued his domination of the boxing world.  Margarito had the advantage of more size and power, but Pacquiao's small stature allowed him to go in circles around his opponent, ultimately tiring him out. The first thing that struck me about the fight was that Pacquiao offered to touch gloves with his opponent, who ignored him. That's okay- Manny got him back.  During the first round, Margarito had a good jab but wasn't throwing it nearly enough to gain him the round. During ...
